The media reporter contacted seven Chinese vape manufacturers suspected of selling illegal products by disguising himself as a potential customer and published a list of these seven companies.
- The Australian government has introduced a transitional arrangement to allow unauthorized vapecompanies to dispose of inventory without violating the law, and non-pharmacy retailers will be prohibited from selling any type of vapes.
- The Minister of the Department of Industry and Trade (DTI) of the Philippines signed an order to immediately suspend the online sale of vapes. - Nebraska, USA, passed new regulations to ban vapeadvertising targeting children and set up a corporate product registration system. By October 2025, it will be illegal to sell any vapenot on the list.
- Japan Tobacco International (JTI) announced the start of construction of its first green factory in the Tangier Med Industrial Zone, Morocco, with an investment of approximately US$92 million, and is expected to start construction in August 2024.
